End Citizens United

Elections should belong to the people, not to dark money. Michael Black Wolf believes Montanans deserve a political system that is accountable to voters rather than controlled by wealthy donors, corporations, and outside influence.

For many people, trust in politics has been damaged by the growing power of money in elections. Citizens United made that worse by allowing unlimited outside spending to flood campaigns and shape public debate. That means local voices can be drowned out by interests that do not represent Montana communities.

Michael supports legislation to end Citizens United because democracy should not be for sale. Campaigns should be about public service, community priorities, and honest accountability — not who can attract the biggest check.

Reducing the power of dark money would help restore trust, reduce corruption, and allow campaigns to focus more on the real issues affecting Montana families, workers, rural communities, and tribal nations.

Michael’s priorities include:

  • Restoring trust by limiting the influence of wealthy donors and corporations on elections
  • Reducing corruption and pay-to-play politics
  • Helping campaigns focus more on local issues instead of high-dollar fundraising
  • Protecting the integrity of Montana’s democratic process
